Competitions Explained
Sunday 17th February – Side by Side Challenge (Non Handicap)
- Members can compete for the side by side shotgun challenge trophy and prize money – top 3 places awarded
- All attendees can compete in the Over & Under and Semi Auto categories – top 3 places awarded in each category
Sunday 12th May – Spring Handicap (Members Only)
- All members are split into classes A to C, depending upon their rolling average
- Top 3 places awarded in each class
- A Top Gun prize (non handicap) is awarded
Sunday 21st July – Odd Couples (Non Handicap, Members Only)
- All members will be split into 2 groups, and one drawn from each at random to create a pairing
- Top 3 places awarded
Sunday 13th October – Browns BG Limited Prize Shoot (Non Handicap)
- Members compete for the trophy, prizes and money
- Non Members compete for prizes and awards
- A raffle is undertaken with all proceeds to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance
Sunday 8th December – Winter Handicap (Members Only)
- All members are split into classes A to C, depending upon their rolling average
- Top 3 places awarded in each class
- A Top Gun prize (non handicap) is awarded
Sunday 22nd December – Members Free Shoot
All awards will be presented following each competition, across the road in the Millers Inn. All shooters are welcome to attend the presentation which will take approximately 20 minutes. Would winners please make the effort to attend (or you may forfeit your prize).
